WASHINGTON (AP) _ The Rev. Billy Graham’s youngest daughter says she can relate to the struggles faced by women in the political spotlight in Washington.

Ruth Graham, who spoke last week to a women’s group in the U.S. Capitol, says she knows how they feel trying to uphold a perfect public image, even when they feel “life is crumbling” around them.

Graham has suffered a husband’s infidelity, has been divorced twice and has dealt with her children’s drug use, bulimia and teen pregnancies.

But she says God has used her trials to help her minister to others.

Ruth Graham’s latest book is titled “Fear Not Tomorrow, God Is Already There.”
