The Salvation Army expands to 121 countries

The United Arab Emirates is the most recent nation to welcome Salvation Army programs. The evangelical ministry was working in Kuwait and has been working since 2009 to gain permission to cross into the United Arab Emirates. The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
