SELINSGROVE, Pa. (AP) _ It’s a time of pain and prayer for a Pennsylvania church.

Five of its missionaries were injured in twin bombings that happened Sunday night as people at two locations had gathered to watch the World Cup’s final match. Dozens were killed.

Fifteen people, about half of them members of Christ Community United Methodist Church outside Selinsgrove, flew to Uganda on June 16 to evangelize and volunteer their efforts at a Pentecostal Church.

The volunteers had been building a wall around a church and school in a poor section of Kampala. Uganda has a sizable Christian population. A Somali group that has been linked to al-Qaida has been claimed responsibility for the attacks.

A 19-year-old apparently suffered the worst injuries. He had a severe leg wound and suffered some facial burns from the blast.
