Can you remember a time when you turned on the radio to Faith 1090 and it seemed like the Lord knew what you needed to hear?  It’s happened to me . . . and to countless friends in our community.

On Sunday night, a dear friend of mine lost her [boyfriend] to suicide.  She also listens to your station, and she said that she heard Matt Maher’s “Hold Us Together” three times today.  The song reminded her that God will help her get through this.  I’m grateful that listening to the radio can lift her spirits. The Lord used this station to assure Jordan, her friend and many others of His love . . . comforting and encouraging them during a heartbreaking time.

Our community is filled with many hurting people.  They are crying out for hope, authentic hope that can be found in Jesus Christ.  We have an incredible opportunity to reach them.
