Dear Friend,

Can you remember a time when you turned on the radio to Faith 1090 and it seemed like the Lord knew what you needed to hear? It’s happened to me . . . and to countless friends in our community.

Please take a look at this e-mail; it’s a wonderful picture of the life-changing impact we can have through music:

On Sunday night, a dear friend of mine lost her [boyfriend] to suicide. She also listens to your station, and she said that she heard Matt Maher’s “Hold Us Together” three times today. The song reminded her that God will help her get through this. I’m grateful that listening to the radio can lift her spirits. Please pray for her. Love really does hold us together! —Jordan

The Lord used this station to assure Jordan, her friend and many others of His love . . . comforting and encouraging them during a heartbreaking time.

Our community is filled with many hurting people. They are crying out for hope, authentic hope that can be found in Jesus Christ. We have an incredible opportunity to reach them.

2011 Faith Radio Spring SHARE begins on March 15. This is a significant time each year when we share stories of how the Lord is using this ministry to change lives . . . and a time when we ask our friends to give financially, allowing us to keep reaching out to eastern Iowa through music, testimonies and community outreach.

First of all, let me say THANK YOU for your outpouring of generosity during Fall Share 2010 last month! We deeply appreciate the partnership of nearly 2,500 listeners in this ministry!

But we are only about 62% of the way towards our overall 2010-2011 operations budget goal of $1,300,000. That means there’s still an opportunity for you to help raise the rest of what’s needed.

Would you help today with a financial gift to keep the life-changing ministry of Faith 1090 on the air for the coming year? Your support will not only keep us on the air for your benefit, butyour gift will also help touch more listeners like Betsy who faced a rough crisis in her life:
